Joel Rosenhaus, MSW, MBA
Executive Director

Joel Rosenhaus has an M.B.A. in Health Care and Finance from Suffolk University and an M.S.W. in Social Work from Boston College. He has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and is the former Vice President of CRC Health Care Group and before that the Chief Operating Officer of the May Institute.

Ashley Constantine, MSW, LICSW
Clinical Director

Ashley has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, and is currently a Licensed School Adjustment Counselor. Prior to joining the Ivy Street School team in February 2016, Ashley spent approximately 3 years at the NFI Worcester IRTP as a Clinical Director and Clinician as well as several years working at the Walker Home and School in Needham. Throughout her career, Ashley has over 8 years of experience working in residential, public, and private schools with students who have behavioral health needs and are on the autism spectrum. Ashley also provides outpatient services to youth and their families through her private practice.

Leah Salloway, M.Ed.
Education Director

Leah Salloway has been working in education for the past 9 years. Leah holds licenses in School Counseling, Special Education, and Special Education Administration. Leah graduated with her Masters from Keene State College in 2014. Currently, Leah is working on her Doctorate in Education and Community Leadership at Plymouth State University. Leah comes with both public and private school experience, and most recently was the Director of St. Coletta Day School, a part of Cardinal Cushing Centers. Leah has been working as the Education Director at Ivy Street School since 2018. In her free time, Leah enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Lane Wendel, LICSW, CAS, Licensed School Adjustment Counselor
Residential Director

Lane joined the Ivy Street School in September 2015 as a clinical intern while she completed her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. Prior to receiving her MSW, Lane received her B.S. in Human Development with a minor in Education from Cornell University. In May 2016, Lane joined the clinical team at Ivy Street as a full-time clinician and behavior specialist. Since joining the Ivy Street team, Lane earned her License in Independent Clinical Social Work, her Massachusetts License as a School Adjustment Counselor, and a certification as an Autism Specialist. In April 2019, Lane transitioned her work to the Residential Department, assuming the role of Residential Director. Lane‘s work within the residential program aims to promote a safe, positive, and therapeutic living environment for our students so that they can reach their fullest potential.

Kate Garrity, MS, OTR/L
Director of Related Services

Kate has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Before joining Ivy Street School, Kate worked as a Program Director of the Transitions Program at Aspire MGH, helping teens and young adults develop skills for employment and independent living. Prior to receiving her master’s degree, she worked as Assistant Director of a community-based day program for adults through the Department of Developmental Services. In addition to working with the Ivy Street students in the classroom, Kate supports the students living at the Cottage Farm Program after school, helping to build independent living skills in the home and community contexts.

Brooke Howard, MS, OTR/L
Director of Transition

Brooke has a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Sargent College at Boston University and an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Oberlin College. Brooke has worked as an Occupational Therapist with children and adolescents in early intervention, inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings since she was licensed in 2005. Before coming to Ivy Street, she worked in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and supervised the outpatient program at Franciscan Hospital for Children. Brooke also worked as an adjunct faculty in the Occupational Therapy department at Sargent College from 2010-2014. Brooke has been at Ivy Street since 2009 and was a founding member of the transition classroom.

Brianna Campbell, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing

Brianna is a registered nurse and graduated from Northeastern University with her BSN. Prior to joining Ivy Street School in May 2019, Brianna was a Pediatric ICU nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her passion has always been to work with children and it all started on a volunteer trip to Thailand working with children with special needs. Throughout her career she has worked with children of all ages, dealing with many complex medical diagnoses. Getting the opportunity to get to know every student and their specific needs is one of Brianna‘s favorite parts of her job. She loves working with families and being able to help every student achieve their goals.

Tunzel Hayes
Admissions Director

Tunzel Hayes joined the staff in 2002, spearheading the creation of the Vocational Program and serving as the Vocational Department Director until she was asked to become the Ivy Street School Admissions Director in 2010. She has a B.A. in English from Portland State University and a Master’s in Writing. She is also a lecturer in Boston University’s writing program. Tunzel lends her experience as an educator, having worked with our students for years, to her admissions role.

Barbara Salisbury

Barbara Salisbury
Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining MAB, Barbara Salisbury had a long career in state government and higher education. She served as the state budget director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under Governor Michael Dukakis, and was the Administrative Dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University for 12 years. She came to MAB in 2006.

David Brown David Brown
Chief Advancement Officer

Well known as a WCVB Channel 5 Meteorologist for almost 18 years, David Brown left local broadcasting to serve as the Chief Advancement Officer for the not-for-profit Forsyth Institute, a biomedical research institute specializing in oral health. After serving as the MC for Ivy Street School’s Extravaganza for a number of years, Brown developed close connections to and passion for MAB Community Services, its programs, and its mission. In 2015 he transitioned to a role as Chief Advancement Officer for MAB Community Services

Francois Hostailler Francois Hostailler
Chief Financial Officer

Francois has been MAB’s CFO since May 2014. With over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, Francois has dedicated much of his career to the nonprofit and social service sectors, including positions at Vinfen, Hearth, and YMCA. He oversees MAB’s team of accounting and IT professionals and utilizes his expertise to support the organization’s overall process improvement and operational efficiency. Francois received his master’s degree in accounting and his DESCF from the University of Toulouse, France. He is bilingual, fluent in both French and English.

Alison Abdu Alison Abdu
Director of Human Resources Strategy and Operations

Alison brings a wealth of Human Resources experience to MAB. She was a member of the HR leadership team at Partners HealthCare for more than twenty years, most recently as Vice President for HR Solutions. She is especially passionate about implementing programs to: expand career opportunities for all staff and especially low-wage earners, recognize employee contributions, increase staff engagement and loyalty, and streamline and improve operations. Alison has worked with other organizations that provide services to adults with disabilities and vulnerable populations.
